1995年10月~1997年7月 在南京大学做博士后工作。
2002年10月~2004年10月 在日本京都大学留学。
一直从事无序系统中相变和临界现象的研究。所有的物质系统都会有相变,比如超导体的超导相变,氦4的超流相变以及液晶中的各种相变。对于纯净系统,
相变和临界现象的理论和实验已经符合得非常好了。描述临界现象的重正化群理论是理论物理学上的一个高峰,这个理论的主要创建者威尔逊得到了诺贝尔
奖。朗道-金兹堡-威尔逊哈密顿量是描述相变的一个基本出发点,也是重正化群理论的一个出发点。它的鞍点解就是朗道的平均场理论。不过对于无序系统,
实验已发现了许多用现有理论不能很好解释的现象。为了描述无序系统中的相变,可以在朗道-金兹堡-威尔逊哈密顿量中引入一个随机温度。我们用数值方
法解了有随机温度的朗道-金兹堡-威尔逊哈密顿量的鞍点方程的基态和激发态解,发现无序系统的相变是这样的,由于临界温度在空间中有起伏,系统中会
有些地方先局域有序化,随着温度的降低,局域有序 化的区域越来越多,这些区域会连接起来。局域有序化区域之间的相互作用的强度将决定相变的类型。
如果相互作用很强,相变应该是渗流型的,而且是非均匀的。如果相互作用弱,则相变是均匀的。这些结果与实验定性上是一致的。近年来利用键传播算法,
解决了二维伊辛模型的开放边界问题,验证了共形场的预言。
