中国科学院“百人计划”获得者;现为北京师范大学物理系二级教授,享受国务院特殊津贴专家。主持、参加过国家级科研项目18项,其中两次作为国家基金委重大项目课题负责人,并合作承担国家基金委重点项目一项;发表科研论文及专著90篇。
